Is upsell really working?

in Web Site / E-Commerce

Has anyone else noticed that the results for their upsell on the website isnt looking right. On the off chance i was doing some work on the item drilldown template and noticed that there were products in the upsell that had no relation to the product i was viewing. I looked into the item on the related tab and even though they were on the correlated list, they were far down the list and the lift and count were under what i set in the website setup section. Also, there were items that really were related and were above the
