Duplicate temporary accounts created by Google Checkout integration

We have been using Google Checkout for about three weeks now and have noticed that it creates a temporary account with the name "Google Customer" for every order placed with Google Checkout. We now have over 200 of these.
So at this rate we are soon going to have thousands of empty duplicate Google Customer accounts.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I can understand why GCO needs a temp account to access NS but shouldn't this temp account get deleted after the order completes?
