Identifying Information Item on layouts

in Web Site / E-Commerce

Looking to put a large number of information items into our website, and include them on product listing pages.

To do this, I need to be able to adjust the cell template layouts when the item being displayed is an information item, otherwise the layout includes extra data not required in an information item.

Is there anything I can include in the template which I can use to determine the item type?
