Customer Buying at wrong price... had item in basket for a couple of days
Wonder if anyone can describe whether there is a solution to this scenario:
1. Customer places product in basket on Tuesday at a sales price of 100.
2. They don't check out.
3. Next day I change the price of the product to 150 because my suppliers price has gone up.
4. Original customer returns and the product and price of 100 has persisted in their basket / session
5. They then checkout at 100 - making me a loss in the process!
Is there any way I can manage the amount of time their cookie / session can persist for to prevent this scenario or is this out of my control.
