Free Product dropped with order over $50

Hi there,
does anyone know if if't possible to set up a promotion whereby we offer a free product if the customer spends over a certain amount?

If not, we were thinking that we could recognize these orders if we could get the promo code to print on the picking ticket, but so far I could not find how to get that to happen.

Any help would be appreciated.
