Questions about partners, transactions, and web store sessions
I'm trying to figure out how the partner system works. We've set up a partner and they can send people to our store with the partner code in the url (e.g., http://shopping.netsuite.com/1234&partner=abc). It appears that the partner information gets stored in the user's session.
I have a few questions:
* How long do the web store sessions last?
* If a user enters the store through Partner A's URL, buys something, returns to the store in a few days, and buys something else, will the second purchase be associated with Partner A?
* If a user enters the store through Partner A's URL, leaves, then enters the store again through Partner B's URL, and then buys something, which partner gets associated with the purchase?
