EDI Integration

We are looking into several solutions for EDI.

Some solutions integrate inside NetSuite directly using SuiteFlex while others work with a Windows applications on a machine using WebServices.  What is the main difference between the two?

Has anyone worked with any of these EDI vendors:

SynqWare
EZOrderLink
SPS Commerce

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
