How to have a URL for a hosted page without a .html extension

We want to be able to tell customers to go to addresses such as www.therapon.com/shopnearyou and actually have the www.therapon.com/shopnearyou.html page load.  Is there a way to not have to put the extension (such as .html) in the URL.
