Display inventory available on inventory item pages
On each of our closeout/clearance item pages we want to display the number available, including for matrix child items ( almost all of our items are matrix items) .
I have a published saved search that displays the numbers we want, but I wasn't able to hook it up to a form/filter that filters by item id so that only the inventory numbers for a particular chair on clearance display, rather than all of the inventory numbers for all of our products.
Should I be looking at a suitelet that pushes an item id value into a saved search...either by modifying the URL of a saved search (don't think it's possible this way though), or by somehow passing the value to a Suitescript run saved search using nlapiSearchRecord()?
