Scriptable Cart - Promotion Codes

Hi, i havent started using the scriptable cart system yet but wanted to know if its possible to work with promotion codes with the scriptable cart? In my case, we want to offer a promotion code which has discount but only want to apply it to specific customer price level. Promotion codes by default do not have this option, so was hoping it could work with scriptable cart.
