Switching website to Magento, but keep Netsuite for back-office operations?

edited Jun 14, 2011 1:53PM in Web Site / E-Commerce 3 comments

We are about to invest and move our webstore into a Megento website and hopefully by the end of the year drop our Netsuite-based website.  We would like to keep Netsuite for our key back-office operations and business processes though (FarApp will take care of the bridge between Magento and Netsuite). We have the NetSuite Mid Market Edition right now with the Advanced Inventory Module, Site Builder Module, and Unlimited Webstore Items.  So I think we would just need the "NetSuite Financials" product, if that is even an option?  Anyone else do something like this?

There are a many reasons for doing this move, not limited to being fed up with the limitations and lack of customizations for our webstore.  We are also hoping to save some money by not having to purchase all the different modules from Netsuite too. My only concern is that we have been with Netsuite since 2005 and making a switch is scary.  Looks promising though!  We are still in the planning stage but this is what we are thinking. Any input is appreciated!?

Howdy, Stranger!
