FTP or... ?

I'm having a hard time, while updating some shop pages on this Netsuite store.  I've been using the file drawer to upload site pages, files, images, etc.

My flow has been:
Update the html/css/js locally, preview locally, then zip it all up and use the file drawer to upload to Netsuite, to see what it looks like with the products and information populating.

This is very awkward and slow.

Is there a better development workflow?  Is there a way to get a real preview, locally?

Is there a faster more efficient way to upload files?
