Set Price Level for ALL NEW WEB Customers

We need to be able to set the price level of all leads/prospects/and customers who register on our website.  Right now the default it blank.  Also, we don't want to set this for all customers, only customers who come in through the website.  Does anyone know of a way to do this?  If it requires scripting, could you give me some pointers?
