custom script suddenly not working

I'm hoping to get some help - we had some custom script written about 5 years ago for a wholesale component to our shopping cart.  worked flawlessly until the update last week and now we have no checkout button.  our wholesale minimum is $100 - used to be there was a message stating that and once the order reached $100 that message was replaced with the checkout button but that's no longer happening.  here's the code (at least I think this is the portion that's no longer workoing)
