Add a link to a reference My Account page to the item category page

in Web Site / E-Commerce

I know I can add a link to the item template page that links to the my account page.  However what I need is a link on the item page to link to the /ordershistory page of the My Account so that the user can easily access this page without multipule clicks.  I have added the href=<%=getCustomerCenterUrl()%>+"/ordershistory" and yet it only takes them to the My Account standard page.  Can anyone help thanks,
