'All for one module' or 'One for all modules'?

When expanding your SCA website and adding custom functionality do you just make 1 big new Module that contains all your new features or do you create many modules each addressing a certain feature/override?

For eg do you recommend just creating one big module called MyCompanyOverrides@1.0.0. Or do you recommend making many separate modules that address a limited scope of features and functionality?
