Is there a way to mass add free items to a shipping item?

We have ~1,500 virtual products we sell (software, licenses, etc.). Obviously there's no shipping on those. How do I add 1,500 items to the shipping item to say they are free without having to type each one in by hand? Can I batch upload someone?
