Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals not available with NetSuite eCommerce POS

We are using the NetSuite eCommerce Point of Sale system together with our account, and there is a requirement that NetSuite POS requires the "Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals" under Account Preferences in the main account to be Turned Off.

We have used and need to use “Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals” to void checks and other payments. We can not use Direct Voids.

Currently, in order to Void transactions, we must disable NetSuite POS, change the preference in the main system (Account Preferences) to Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals, make the voids, and then go back to Account Preferences and disable the option, and then Re-Enable the NetSuite POS. All the while NetSuite POS is offline and unavailable for our staff to use.
