Web Store for Internal Customers

My employer has been running a legacy web site that contained a internal ordering form for field sales where they could order marketing materials to be sent to them.  We are in the process of decommissioning that legacy web site and I was asked if it is possible to create a NetSuite Web Store for our field sales team to order these marketing materials.  Have any of you done anything like this?  What recommendations do you have?  What challenges did you encounter?
