HTTPS for Sandbox - Can't Verify Domain with Godaddy

I'm working with a team at NetSuite to get our Sitebuilder Site set up for HTTPS.  We're unable to get the sandbox account working because GoDaddy requires a domain to be verified in order to generate a certificate.  We haven't been able to do that because nobody has access to the root sandbox domain (netsuitestaging.com).  Has anybody else encountered this?  NetSuite says they've switched a lot of Sitebuilder domains to HTTPS and never run into this issue before.
