How to show dashboard

Hi,

I have created a dashboard and assigned it to a role.  For the setup of the dashboard, I have selected the role and and checked the box for "Override existing user's settings".  On the 'Apply To Tabs', I have selected 'Home'.

Does this mean that anyone with the role that I have applied this dashboard to, should, by default, have this dashboard on their 'Home' tab?  If this is the case, this is not happening.  If this is not the case, how do I make this dashboard the default for this role?
