Advanced Forecasting Problem. Am I missing something.?
Netsuite or anyone for that matter,
Am I mis-understanding the way adv. forecasting is supposed to work. So before I log a error - I thought I had better check.
So we have three buckets say. Worst Case, Commit, Best Case. Lets take a very simple case here.
Sales order of $10,000.00 that closes for 2 items. The first item you can fulfil immediately and the 2nd item I cannot fulfil for 2 mths or perhaps even never. So we invoice the customer for 5,000 for what we shipped.
The buckets look like:
Worst Case = $10,000
Commit = $10,000
Best Case = $10,000
ACTUAL = $5,000.
Now my quesiton is: shouldnt it read as:
