Multiple estimates / opportunity?

Hello,

Does anyone use multiple estimates for the same opportunity?  For example, we may quote several different support options for our product.  Should we create multiple estimates reflecting that, or just print/email one version, then modify it and print/email the next, etc?  If you do use multiple versions, how do you keep the pipeline/forecast from "double counting"?
