How to track the sales of a group of customers?

I am sending out direct mails to a group of customers that I have already used Netsuite to set up as a "group".

What is the next step I need to do if I were to keep track of their sales figures going forward? Via Compaign? Saved Searches?

I would appreciate if you can let me know what the preferred method is and how to do it. Thanks in advance.
