Christmas Card Address List

So we've been using NS for 3 years and have never tried to use the email, letter, mail merge functions.  I don't even know where to begin so I will ask you fine folks.  Here's what I'm trying to accomplish:

For Christmas we send gifts to our top 100 customers.  How can I mark these specific accounts and have NS print off address labels for me?  And by doing this this year, will it keep it in history for next year?
