Customizing a Sales/New Account Checklist in Netsuite?

We have several initiatives going where we are adding new tabs to our Customer Record to help our teams communicate with each other more effectively AND to help our Sales & Service team hand-off new sales/accounts to operations (for setup).  We plan to explore having Netsuite build custom functionality to extract info off of the customer record (our tabs & subtabs in the customer record) and populate the data into a form that we can print out (and/or save)--similar to how an opportunity can be converted to a quote or sales order --then printed out in a structured pdf or
