Flakey behavior with solution codes

All of a sudden, NetSuite doesn’t like my solution code. I've entered several solutions with no problem, and suddenly NetSuite is telling me I can not use dashes in the codes.

It took G-TS-00001 and MM-TS-00001, but won’t take OP-TS-00000?
Did they change something or is this a hiccup?

I'd like to keep my number structure, because it ties to our existing KB, but I suppose I can use the underscore. I'd just like to know why I could use dashes last week, and now I cannot. And why the valid characters for this field are not documented in the help file.
