Saved Search Custom Email
I'm trying to produce a custom email notification to our sales reps for new leads that are entered via an online customer form. There is an enhancement request in for allowing users to customize this email and the comments include a workaround using a saved search notification. Here is the suggested workaround:
1. Create lead source (campaign) for the online form. 2. Create online form 3. Set Send Email notification=F 4. Set Set Lead Source to name of the online form 5. Create Saved Customer search. 6. Criteria Lead Source = name of form 7. Send Email Alerts When Records are Created/Updated = T 7. Go to Email subtab > recipients from results = Sales Rep 8. Customize message with CRMSDK tags for the desired fields, and HTML (if desired) to format the email. 9. Save
