Size limitation on messages

I am wondering if there is a size limitation on messages that can be imported from Outlook.  It seems I read somewhere that the size limitation is 5K, but I haven't been able to confirm that in a help search. 

I always know someone in the forum will know these things - I have a user who sends quotes with attachments, catalogs, etc. and he recently encountered a message that was over 9K and though the Netsuite/Outlook integration appeared to save the message and put him through all the steps of saving the message to Netsuite, it is nowhere to be found in Netsuite.
