No Email Campaign Statistics?

I sent an email campaign yesterday at 10:00AM.  According to the statistics tab the emails were sent, but there are no statistics for opens or click throughs.  I know customers have opened the email and clicked through, because I have actually received responses from a few.  What do I need to do to ensure that I am able to see the statistics accurately?
