Question for Dir/Mgr of Sales Reps out there re: Best Practices

Hi -
I am setting up NetSuite for a client that has a sales force that previously managed their entire pipeline based on tasks.

With NetSuite, they feel like they almost have too many options and they still are not sure how to use Opportunities.

One of their biggest complaints relates to the fact that a Task does not display the contact's phone number and email address (you have to click away from the task into the contact record) - I see their point here and despite building a custom search that is displayed in a dashboard, they still are having problems.
