Saved search : wrong results?

I am using a saved search to automatically generate sales leads for my sales team. I set the criteria in the search and the results are presented on the salesman's dashboard.

When the salesman contacts the customer he makes a note and records the conversation. Now I want him to move on to the next one and I wanted to use the criteria User Notes : Date and make it not after two months, however this seemed to work for a while but what we have found out is that the criteria User Notes : Date returns the date of the earliest note not the most recent. I have looked and there is not a User Notes : Last modified criteria so I don't know how to filter out customers we
