Referral Program - tracking deals, credits, etc.
Hi,
We are establishing a referral program and wanted to see if anyone had NetSuite best practices for tracking the leads/deals as well as administering the earned credits.
We plan to use the Lead Source field to flag that its a referral, and then add notes to the Referring Customer as well as the lead that the source was the referring customer.
Once a deal is done and we calculate the amount to be credited to the account of the Referrer, we would issue a credit memo to that customer. (We could also issue a discount code or something like that.)
