Promotion Codes and Multiple Price Levels
We have the Advanced Promotions Module but have an issue with trying to do item based discounts.
We have four pricing levels set up on items, like this :
Level 1 - 0% Discount (Base Price)
Level 2 - 5% Discount
Level 3 - 10% Discount
Level 4 - 20% Discount
Using pricing groups our customers are set up to automatically pull through one of these pricing levels onto the sales order.
However, when we create a promo code to give a 30% discount off an items Base Price, if a customer assigned to Level 4 uses the code it adds the 30% discount to the 20% discount they already get. Their total discount is then 50%, which can be below our cost price.
