LSA Opportunity Mass Update closes opportunities

Has anyone noticed that the LSA Opportunity Mass Update closes opportunities that have been closed and then re-opened manually?

Here is the scenario:
[LIST]
[*]Create a new opportunity and make some sales activities
[*]Close the opportunity by creating a sales order and make some sales activities
[*]Re-open the opportunity
[*]Wait until the LSA Opportunity Mass Update is ran and check the opportunity again: it's now closed again
[/LIST] Any work around?
