BACS integration in the UK

edited Dec 6, 2019 2:09PM in General 3 comments

Hi,

Has anyone in the UK had any success in making payments to suppliers other than via cheque (or should that be check?) using netsuite with any degree of automation? We bank with Bank of Scotland and their online banking system does not allow easy uploads of CSV files for payments so we just keep signing the cheques. There seems to be no UK equivalent of the US only Metavante service for making bill payments automatically.

I would be particularly interested to know if anyone is using web services or ODBC to interface with commercially available BACS software.

Seems to me this lack of understanding of the UK banking environment must be holding back potential UK customers, not to mention users of electronic banking elsewhere in the EU.

Howdy, Stranger!
