Tax calculation type - how does it work?
I have just discovered this new feature, 'Tax calculation type' in the new release and I think it may solve several VAT (sales tax) issues I have reported, but there is no help for it, either contextual or in the global help.
Can someone from NS - or failing that someone who's used it - tell me what effect changing it will have.
Specifically:
As our prices are currently entered without VAT (as NS required), will turning this on update the prices with the appropriate VAT amount or will it assume that the amount currently entered already includes VAT?
Once this is turned on will NS automatically work out the VAT for us on new items (assuming we put in the VAT code and price including VAT)?
