PCI DSS compliance

hi
we are using Barclays (merchant provider) and Worldpay (gateway) to process credit cards in netsuite. we are being told by Barclays that we need to certify PCI DSS compliance (even though Netsuite is fully compliant)- and they have pointed me to go to Security Metrics to do this. apparently security metrics need to scan all our public IP addresses which is quite expensive and they charge yearly for this.
has anybody had any experience of this - any help would be appreciated!
