Liability accounts on the Balance Sheet

Hi,

While running a balance sheet in NS, total balances in all Liability accounts show up as negatives, whereas the equity section (having credit balances as well) shows up as positive. This makes the sum total of my liability & equity section appear to be different from the total assets side.

COuld someone please provide any input as to why this might be happening and how it would be fixed.
