Timing Out Running Custumized Financial Reports

Ok, so I have finally figured out how to customize the financial layout of the new financial reports.  However, I have not a problem running the report to make sure that layout is correct and generate the reports.  When I run for a short time period (Jan-09 that only has partial data) the report comes up in normal speed.  However, by just expanding the time period by a month (adding Dec-08), the hour glass on the screen just spins and no report comes up and this is only for one subsidiary of six, so I can't imagine what will happen
