Comparative Sales and Total Revenue

When I look at the 'Comparative Sales' graph on my dashboard, the total for the day never matches the sum of invoice amounts for the day.  I'd like to find out why.

One reason for small discrepancies is that we send some invoices in foreign currency, so there is some fx adjustment.  And I can see that some journal entries affect the graph too.  But is there a definition of 'Total Revenue' somewhere, so I can find any other factors?
