Revenue recognition forecast with sales team

edited Dec 6, 2019 10:05AM in Accounting / ERP

Is there a way to build a report on upcoming revenue recognition with columns for each accounting period, and at the same time, have the report show the sales team involved in each sale?

Here's the scenario:
- An estimate is created and it goes to sales order to invoice with a sales team identified on all the transactions.
- Sometimes a revenue commitment will also be created from the sales order. In which case, the revenue commitment will also carry over the sales team from the sales order. Other times, the revenue recognition schedule will be created from the invoice.

I tried customizing both the summary and detail versions of the Revenue Recognition Forecast report under Reports > Revenue to try to expose the name of each sales rep from the sales team. There is a report column for Revenue Recognition Schedule : Sales Rep : Name, but it seems like that only pulls the name of the primary rep identified on the revenue commitment or invoice. I cannot find a field for displaying the names of all the reps.

Howdy, Stranger!
