YTD Reporting

Does someone know how to set up a report which shows Year to Date amounts in a P&L report.
If I were reporting on August 2016, I'd want

Actual Month Data for August
Budget Month Data for August
YTD Actual Data for August (i.e. 1 July 16 - 31 August 16)
YTD Budget Data for August

At the moment if I use this fiscal year as my alternate date it provides me with 1st July 16 to 30 June 17
If I use this fiscal year to date it give me 1 July 16 to 1 August 16 (I'd have thought it would have to give 31 August 2016)

If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated
