Chaging Date Format to Quarter

Sales Director wants an Opportunity Details report with Quarter rather than Close Date dd/mm/yyyy

How can I do this.

Once he has that I know he is going to want to see Q1  Q2  Q3  Q4 as columns in the report with the Weighted Totals in the appropriate Quarter.

Is this a Job for X Tabs in Excel rather than Netsuite Report Builder?
