Limiting Transaction Search to 1 result per customer
I am trying to create an "anniversary search" to create thank you letters. I have created a saved "customer search" for customers with a transaction date = 1 year ago.
I also filter the search by a custom field called Activation_Type = new or upgrade.
This gives me 1 record per customer which is fine.
However, I also want to add the transaction date to the results. As soon as I do this I end up getting duplicate customer records in the output.
NOTE: There are only a few duplicates, ie those customers that had more than one Activation Type.
I have filed support case # 803608 to try and get some help but have not gotten it figured out yet.
