Backorder Report
I need to build a report that will show a trend of how many items go on backorder for a given month including the qty that went on backorder. This is used to gauge performance as relative to inventory management. So I would like to see how many times last month a sales order included an item that was backorderd and the qty of that item.
Every way I have built this report it has worked fine, until that item gets received and fulfilled. The backorder quantity is removed from the Sales Order thus breaks the historic report. Every report I produce can only show me the current items that are on backorder, which is not what I need. Does anyone have a thought on how to go about making this report?
