Creating report - customers with no activity in the past quarter

I am a relatively new user on NetSuite, my company is a membership organisation and I am looking to identify any member where there has been no contact in the past quarter.
I am trying to create a search which shows all customers with no activity in the communications section in the past quarter; I would welcome any help on producing this as I am struggling to identify the fields to use in the report
