customizing htmls sales orders

I've been messing with this for a year now. 

I'm trying to customze the sales order that gets emailed. (Not the order confirmation).
I have a customized sales order, and it is selected as my preferred.  But everytime I need to edit a sales order (because customer selected wrong address or wants me to add or delete from existing order) I like to email them another copy.  I do not like any credit card #s appearing on these email orders at all.  And I cannot get it to stop.

I prefer my body fields to be very simple.  Not a bunch of added info that confuses my customers.
