Can one change the line height of text on Transaction Form PDF layouts

Hi,

I have some custom elements on my PDF invoices but the line height is too small. I'd like to space the lines out a bit more.

Is there a way of achieving this without having to create a custom element for each line of text?

I have set "Line Spacing" to "Double" under the PDFs section of the "Printing" tab in the "Printing, Fax & Email Preferences"; this only makes a difference to the line items and none of the other text.
