HTML e-mail templates for different e-mail clients

Hi there,

Do you have any references in terms of how to develop HTML e-mail templates that will look consistent for the major e-mail clients on both PC and Mac?  Seems like when I have the format looking all correct in Outook 2007 (which is a pain) on a PC, it's messed up in Entourage on a Mac (and it'll be messed up on any browser too [IE6/7, Firefox, Chrome], but it's an e-mail template so people are going to read them as e-mails).  Are there any standard "guides" or "tips" for developing HTML e-mails for the different e-mail clients/platforms?
